We were worried the whole drive down that Hurricane Alberto was gonna put a damper on our trip, but thankfully the storm turned and all we had was one afternoon of rain, the rest of the week was perfectly blue skies with beautiful turquoise water to enjoy.
This year the boys wanted to dig a huge mote and build a castle city. They got some help from the adults but for the most part stayed busy digging and shoveling sand into place.
There was some boogie boarding and lots of floating around in the huge waves.
These to are such good friends, they played in the surf all day every day continuously!
We enjoyed being on the beach on Memorial Day weekend. These cutie patootie cousins had fun being together all week long, there were moments of arguments and squabbling but for the most part they did great.
Eliana and Kameron got in on this one.
It was fun making new memories and laughing as we recounted old ones.
(Ava Jane looks sad in this picture but she was just squinting against the sun.)
There was lots of lego making, game playing and movie watching and baby cuddles for all.
These kids loved being at the beach every single minute!
Kameron, did not love every minute of the sand business, but we had plenty of hands to hold her.
Finding sea shells was a major hit with Ava Jane.
Oh how I love my girl.
Check back for more pictures from the trip.
